There are really only two things happening in my house at the moment: sleep training and a red guitar. As you can imagine, they do not really get along. Jonah eats fast to get back to his guitar. He goes to sleep so he can wake up and play his guitar. He happily goes potty with the promise of more guitar playing. He says he's a 'musician.' He pretends to put the strap (there is no strap) over his head and he explains HOW he plays the guitar, then he proceeds to sing 'Down in the Valley... valley so LOW..." Meanwhile, my sweet Ivy just wants to play, she does not want to sleep, EVER. Hence the sleep training :-)
I maintain, that this is the harderst yoga i've ever done. Finding my peace in the midst of sleepless nights and steady chaos is a new level of focus (that i have yet to master!). Kids or no kids, i'm sure most people can relate to busyness and some level of chaos this time of year.
For me, it sure makes coming to the studio a real TREAT! To see happy faces and practice yoga is a warm, friendly, fun atmostphere is delightful.
